In this video, Lalit Modi talks about the financial implications to him personally, of setting up the IPL:
• Not pocketed any money from IPL
• Benefits went to BCCI
• IPL created value for BCCI from nothing to two billion dollars over 10 years
• Very proud that 100 per cent of revenue went to BCCI
• All costs incurred were personal
• IPL managed in personal time
