• Everybody understood the process
• BCCI members witnessed the opening of the bids
• BCCI was delighted with the bids
• Companies and teams were established only after a bid win
• The process was examined independently
• Due diligence was conducted by lawyers
• Kochi shareholders didn’t appear to understand their liability
• Personal concerns were expressed
• But bidding process could not be rigged
